Asbestos Awareness
More than two-million workplaces contain asbestos and it is the single biggest cause of work related deaths in the UK.
This course enables those involved in building, repair and maintenance of commercial properties to identify and deal with asbestos, and meet their legal ‘Duty to Manage’.
What will delegates learn?
Delegates will receive a certificate on successful completion of a written assessment.
The new Managing Safety course is for managers, supervisors or persons responsible for safety issues with their organisation, from all business sectors and any organisation. It will give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety issues.
The four day course covers
This is an interactive course which will give mangers an excellent background in safety issues. On successful completion of a project based on the workplace and a written assessment delegates will receive an IOSH Certificate.

A small, innovative, local company involved in the development and production of energy bill reduction and home security monitoring devices asked HSW Ltd to review H&S requirements and procedures. From this we undertook fire risk assessments, risk assessments for all activities and COSHH assessments. Along with their office administrator Katie Barnard we also implemented Safety Policies and Manuals.
