  • Open forum discussion on laboratory safety issues.

It will cover both the legislation and the practical aspects of safety within laboratories.

2019 - 2020 observed 55% of all lost working days attributed to work related mental ill health. Workload, lack of support, violence, threats or bullying and changes at work are estimated to be the main causes of work-related stress, depression or anxiety based on 2009/10-2011/12 LFS data. This shows a marked increase over previous years.
